Marlee Matlin to Make Her Directorial Debut With Fox’s ‘Accused’

The actress Marlee Matlin has made quite a splash recently, acting in the Oscar-winning film CODA. She is now directing an episode of the upcoming crime drama Accused. The episode will center around a deaf woman who becomes a surrogate. Matlin is excited to direct and looks forwards to being one of the first female, deaf directors in television.
