Travelers Protective Association – Scholarship Trust for the Hearing Impaired

This trust provides financial aid, including scholarships, for the deaf or hearing-impaired who will benefit from medical, mechanical, specialized treatment or specialized education. Special consideration is given to individuals demonstrating the greatest financial need. Amount of financial aid grants including scholarships generally range from $100.00 to $1,000.00.

Millie Brother – Scholarship for Hearing Children of Deaf Adults

This is an annual scholarship awarded to hearing children of deaf adults to help them pursue post-secondary education. The scholarship can be used for undergraduate or graduate study. On average two $3000 scholarship are offered annually. These are one-time scholarships, but you may apply for as many years as you are in school.

Gallaudet University – National Literary Competition (NLC)

Deaf and hard of hearing students may participate in the ASL competition (for grades 2–12) or the Writing competition (for grades 6–12). One Grand Prize winner​ from each competition will have the option of choosing from three prizes: an all-expense-paid trip to Gallaudet, free registration for Gallaudet’s Summer Youth Camps, or a $500 scholarship to Gallaudet. Students may participate in each competition as many years as they are eligible.
