Online Spaces to Network and Communicate
Open Chat Night
Join us every Wednesday night (8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EST) for a text-based group discussion on a weekly topic posted ahead of time on the Hearing Loss Blog. The conversation is by no means limited to the topic, however. We encourage free and open communication. The goal is to share experiences, make friends, and receive answers to your questions. The chat room is open to the deaf and hard of hearing, hearing care professionals, teachers, interpreters, students, and anyone else interested in learning more about hearing loss issues. First-timers are always welcome.
Hearing Loss Forum
Have a question or an interesting discussion topic related to hearing loss? Start a new thread on our online message board and see what others have to say. While you’re there, respond to others’ threads to keep the discussion rolling. The Hearing Loss Forum is open 24/7. Join the conversation when it’s most convenient for you.
Hearing Loss Blog
Read the latest articles written by our very own members of the DeafandHoH team and post your comments either directly on the blog or in the Hearing Loss Forum. Be sure to check the blog before each Wednesday night to find out what the weekly Open Chat Night topic will be.
