Leader of Louisiana’s schools for the deaf, visually impaired on leave; state won’t say why
The Louisiana Schools for the Deaf have been under controversy for several years. The superintendent of these schools was put on paid leave recently. He was sent away because of an investigation regarding his position. The board of directors have not yet stated why he was placed on leave. Several other superintendents have left the position in succession, one in 2018 and one in 2019.
