Girl Scout Troop for Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Jaylah Hughes is a star in her academics and she has a passion for basketball. More importantly, she is a girl scout and decided to start a hard of hearing troop to receive a gold award. Through her intelligence, determination, and heart of gold she has been able to achieve this. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, she took courses on ASL and became proficient in it.
