Faribault deaf cheer team to compete in its first-ever hearing competition
Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (MSAD) has been competing in Deaf cheer competitions since the 1940s. This year, however, they’re making history as the school’s first group of Deaf cheerleaders to compete in a non-Deaf competition, against hearing athletes. Typical competitions for these MSAD athletes in the past have included the National Deaf Cheer Competition and the Great Plains Schools for the Deaf competitions. Read the full story here.
