Controversy at Louisiana School for the Deaf prompts call for state audit

Lawmakers recently began performing a proper investigation into the Louisiana school district. The district has been the subject of controversy for a long time, and legislative Auditor Mike Waguespack will provide a third-party analysis of the situation.This was sparked by the unprecedented removal of principal Heather Laine, who herself replaced another principal who was recently removed. Hopefully the audit will ensure the school is cooperating with all proper state laws and guidelines.
