ACLU: Clark County jail failing to provide interpreters for deaf inmates
Recently, the Clark County Detention Center has failed to provide deaf inmates with adequate resources. This includes lack of interpreters and other communication devices. Of course, everyone deserves the right to communicate effectively. The CCDC has violated the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the facility must be updated accordingly. The Justice Department should accommodate the detainees to the best of their ability.
