Zina Jawadi at 2013 HLAA Convention
Zina Jawadi, a California native, has been promoting hearing loss consciousness through her YouTube channel over the past six months. In her February 24th video, Jawadi discusses the HLAA’s latest efforts to increase awareness, including annual walks, donations, and community support. Her two most recent videos showcase several pictures and interviews from this year’s HLAA convention held in Portland, Oregon—in particular, the great diversity in services and products for the deaf and hard of hearing.
