Deaf Stories Project StorySlam – Milwaukee ■ April 25 (recap) The 6th StorySlam showcased powerful, real-life stories told in ASL at Milwaukee’s Centennial Hall. Due to its success, organizers are exploring a fall installment.
Governor Proclaims Deafblind Awareness Month Governor Tony Evers has officially declared June 2025 as Deafblind Awareness Month in Wisconsin. State agencies and schools are hosting educational events and online resources all month.
June Programming via WESP-DHH The Wisconsin Educational Services Program for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing continues June programming with virtual family meet-and-greets and educational outreach events on June 23.
KODA Camp – Midwest (Wisconsin) Summer camp sessions designed for children of Deaf adults (CODAs) are running throughout the summer in Wisconsin. These camps foster identity, community, and belonging for kids and teens.
