These deaf best friends from the San Fernando Valley created a podcast to help the hearing world understand

Deaf or hard of hearing people frequently make various forms of online content. These projects are often almost explicitly for other members of Deaf Culture. However, two deaf women came up with a unique idea – a podcast that they would make, explicitly for hearing viewers. They came up with the idea to reach a hearing audience. In particular, they made the podcast to inform those who have little to no knowledge of deaf culture. They hope to answer peoples’ questions and inform them about the deaf way of life. The podcast, “What the Deaf?!”, breaks the mold to help inform a wider audience about the lives and facts of the Deaf community.
