Strictly Come Dancing: Deafness ‘not a barrier’ to the arts

Rose Ayling-Ellis is a star of the TV show Strictly Come Dancing. She is the first deaf contestant in the show’s history. Her dances and talent have inspired many Deaf people. Many students are realizing their true potential thanks to her actions on the show. As Martin Mclean of the National Deaf Children’s Society says, “Deafness doesn’t have to be a barrier.”
