Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice recently did a dance on the show supporting the deaf community. Ayling-Ellis is the first ever deaf competitor on the show. In the middle of their dance, the music cut out, giving people a feeling reminiscent of deaf viewers. Rose even said, “In this dance, we have a very special moment, and there’s a moment in it that I’m doing for the Deaf Community.”
