Partially deaf, blind brothers team up to give beautiful gifts to memory care patients in Oak Lawn

Elderly citizens are especially vulnerable to COVID-19, and as such often remain locked up in nursing homes with little to do. However, two brothers recently did their part to help this group feel a little less alone in these trying times.

Austin and Zack Savickas were born partially blind and deaf. Despite this, they recently worked together to bring smiles to nursing home occupants—through art.
