Oticon hearing foundation donates hearing aids for in-need students
In Fort Worth, Texas a group of 13 in-need teens lives have been changed because of a generous donation of hearing aids from Oticon Hearing Foundation. According to Fort Worth Independent School District Audiologist Aubrey Ploof, AuD, hearing aids are available for use during the school day; however, the students do not have use of them outside of school hours, such as in the evening, on weekends, and during summer break.
Ploof adds, “The hearing aids donated by the Oticon Hearing Foundation allow us to provide students with their very own state-of-the-art hearing aids at no cost to the families. This will encourage that each student’s maximum potential is reached.”
