Louisville-native deaf actor stars on NBC’s ‘Young Rock’

As Deaf representation continues to increase across America, more and more Deaf people are getting their time in the spotlight. Kurt Roberson has been pursuing an acting career for years. He never expected to get the chance to be on primetime TV. He flew to Australia and spent quite a bit of time preparing for the role. Roberson is excited to have a chance to be an actor, and hopes to one day meet The Rock, who worked in the same production as him.
