Leader of Louisiana School for the Deaf dismissed, reasons why not disclosed

Heather Laine, former director/principal for the Louisiana School for the Deaf, was recently removed from her post. She was ejected by superintendent Katherine Granier. She did not disclose the reasons why, and the reason for her sudden ejection remains a mystery. Notably, the Louisiana Association for the Deaf disagreed with this change, demanding Laine be reinstated. Granier has ignored requests for explanation or input.
