Al-Waagah Institute for the deaf opens new school in Athlone

In modern society, support for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is needed more than ever. Every day, new schools tailored towards the Deaf community pop up. Just recently, a new preschool opened in Cape Town. The school is designed to help Deaf children prosper, though hearing children can also attend. The school was established by the Al-Waagah Institute for the Deaf, the only Deaf Islamic Institution in Cape Town.
