Deaf Marylanders Gave High Marks To Covid-19 Information Access In Survey

Recently, the Health Signs Center performed a survey, to help develop more deaf-friendly initiatives for national emergencies. deaf Marylanders appreciated the survey and approved of some aspects of their questions about information access. In addition, more Marylanders felt satisfied with the proposed changes than in the other surveyed states. They also had a higher rate of trust in the information presented. As well as that, many deaf Marylanders said their government’s preparedness and policies were inclusive for the deaf community.
