Each state has a workforce agency specifically created to assist people with disabilities in finding employment. As such, they can help deaf and hard of hearing people with acquiring internships, financial aid for college or training, and assistive equipment (such as TTYs, hearing aids, etc.). These agencies are typically called Divisions of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), but other names may be used, such as Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) or Bureau of Rehabilitation Services (BRS).
