988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Adds American Sign Language Services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Callers

It’s important that all Deaf citizens get access to mental health care, and that goes doubly so for those in foster care. However, some states still restrict access or have insufficient accessibility for the Deaf. Parents hope that the state will become more open to providing proper support for the hard of hearing. However, after the pandemic there has been little headway in improving these conditions.
