Deaf FBI agent shares story with Mountain Lakes students

Sue Thomas shared her story with middle school and high school students with hearing loss—a story she hoped would show that they can do anything, no matter what language they use. Thomas was the first deaf FBI agent to work undercover, where she read the lips of various suspects. Originally hired as a fingerprint analyst, she moved on to become part of an undercover team. Her work and autobiography even inspired a television show, entitled “F.B.Eye.”
